Our staff consists of mature and experienced
engineers and geologists.
Robert Alperstein is a licensed Professional
Engineer in six states. He holds a
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from
The Cooper Union for the Advancement of
Science and Art and a Master of Science
degree in Civil Engineering from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a
specialty in Soil Mechanics. He presents
over 45 years' experience in the practice of
Geotechnical Engineering, mostly on major
projects in the Northeast, Midwest, Canada
and the Caribbean. His project experience
includes heavy industrial complexes,
commercial and high rise building
foundations, marinas and waterfront
construction, retaining structures,
transportation facilities (highways, people
movers, pipelines), dams, embankments on
soft ground and soil and rock slope
stabilization. He is a member of
professional societies and has published
over a dozen professional papers relating to
the practical aspects of Geotechnical
Engineering.
Walter J. Papp Jr. is a licensed
Professional Engineer in New York and New
Jersey. He holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and
Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey
with a specialty in Geotechnical
Engineering. He presents more than 10
years Geotechnical Engineering experience
with Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers
and Soiltek Inc. within the New York
Metropolitan Area as well as in Arkansas,
Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. His
project experience includes commercial and
high rise buildings, retaining structures,
groundwater control, grouting, underdrain
systems, waterproofing, underpinning,
drilled foundation elements, soil and rock
slope stability, and instrumentation. He
provides practical solutions to field
related foundation problems and has
significant geotechnical laboratory testing
experience. He is a member of professional
societies and has published several professional papers
relating to Geotechnical Engineering.
Nidal M.
AbiSaab is a licensed Professional
